Visit Agrasen ki Baoli (ancient water reservoir)- Also referred to as Agar Sain Ki Baoli or Ugrasen ki Baoli, this attraction is a historical monument situated on the Halley Road in New Delhi. A mosaic of different assortment of stones and rocks, Agrasen ki Baoli is an ancient water reservoir which rises from the depths of the earth to stand atop 103 stone steps.
Visit Jama Masjid: Known as central mosque of the old Delhi at the time of Shah Jahan. He completed this mosque in the year 1656 and made it the biggest and best known mosque all over in India.
Visit Chandni Chowk – ‘the Moonlight Square – One of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. It is an important historical site renowned for the availability of every kind of goods as well as food. It was constructed in the 17th-century by the Mughal ruler of India Shah Jahan. Chandni Chowk is a perpetually busy area filled with narrow, congested lanes, each specializing in a different product such as spices, jewelry, hardware, and stationery. This is the bustling hub of commerce in the old city. Enjoy a Cycle Rickshaw Ride which takes you through the narrow streets of the Chandni Chowk.
Visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple: Alternatively known as the Birla Mandir, the sacred place is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort Goddess Lakshmi. Temples of other Hindu Gods and Goddesses are present within the complex.
Drive Past India Gate: The India Gate (originally the All India War Memorial) stands as a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army, who died in between 1914–1921 during the First World War. Visit National War Memorial: The National War Memorial is a monument built by the Government of India near India Gate, New Delhi, to honor the Indian Armed Forces.

Visit Humayun's Tomb – It is sublimely well proportioned, seeming to float above its symmetrical gardens. It's thought to have inspired the Taj Mahal, which it predates by 60 years. Constructed for the Mughal emperor in the mid-16th century by Haji Begum, Humayun's Persian-born wife, the tomb marries Persian and Mughal elements.
Visit Qutub Minar: - Qutub Minar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has survived the ravages of time impressively. Built in the 13th century, the magnificent tower stands in the capital, Delhi. Also see the Iron Pillar, situated inside the Qutub Complex, stands majestically with a height of 24 feet. It is placed in front of the Quwwatul Mosque in Qutub Complex. Iron pillar is made up of 6 tons of 98% wrought iron, which is also attributed to be one of the reasons for why this pillar hasn’t rusted.

The city is located on the bank of River Ganga which has two tributaries in the city: Varuna and Assi; hence the name Varanasi.
Late afternoon, go for Heritage walk tour along the riverside in Varanasi:
Winding through the streets and popping out onto the riverside will give you an insider’s look at the symbiotic life of the riverside people of Varanasi.
Eventually you will end up on Bengali Tola, the street of the Bengalis, visiting hidden Mother Goddess Kali shrines and the vistas of life along the riverside. The tour ends at the historic ritual bathing site called Dashaswamedh, the ten-horse sacrifice Ghat. Bengali's have immigrated to Varanasi for hundreds of years and eventually a settlement of riverside priests and shopkeepers sprung up. They are immortalized in the Academy Award winning filmmaker Satyajit Ray's Apu Sansar (The World of Apu). With few changes in these historic lanes over the years you too may slip into the world of Apu!
In the evening go for Ganga Aarti. The Ganga Aarti at Varanasi is an uplifting spiritual ritual. The Aarti ceremony takes place near the Ganges River. While facing the river, the Hindu priests use lamps which are circled around in a clockwise manner, accompanied by chants or songs in praise of Mother Ganga. It is believed that after the ritual is complete, the Goddess showers her blessing onto each individual present there.

Early morning go for mesmerizing sunrise boat ride. Start your day with a morning boat ride at dawn. You have a chance to observe the Hindu way of life along the bank of the Ganges River (Ganga Ghat or Banaras Ghat). Boating down the Ganges River during sunrise is one of the main attractions in Varanasi.
After a hearty breakfast, go for sightseeing tour of the city.
Visit Kashi Viswanath Temple. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a major sacred attraction, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of the city. The present temple was built by Rani Ahailya Bai Holkar of Indore in the year 1776, however, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple was existent even before the present one. About 800 kg of gold being used to cap the spire by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, hence it is also known as the Golden Temple in Varanasi. The temple has been built and re-built several times over the past centuries.
Take a half-day tour of Varanasi – Visit the Bharat Mata temple – The temple does not have any deity, but a relief map of the country carved in marble. The temple was the brainchild of Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta, a freedom fighter. It was built in 1936 and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi and has ever since been the only one dedicated to a country in the World.
Visit the Durga temple –built in the 18th century. It houses an imposing idol of Goddess Durga and is one of the main temples in Varanasi.
Also visit the modern marble Tulsi Manas temple whose walls are engraved with scenes and verses from the Ramcharitmanas, the Hindi version of the Ramayana. Also see the New Viswanath temple, one of the tallest in India (Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple).
Go around the Benares Hindu University and its museum- Established by Madan Mohan Malviya in 1916 and is the largest residential university in the continent, and also see the Alamgir Mosque – mosque of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
Visit Silk factory Mehta Silk Sarnath and see the process of see Banarasi silk weaving and the end product.
Also visit, Sarnath Temple: The Sarnath Temple is located about 10 kilometers from the city of Varanasi, in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was built in 640 Ad by Emperor Ashoka in dedication to Lord Buddha who gave his first sermon called “Dharma Chakra Pravartana” or “Setting In Motion the Wheels of Law” as it is known in Buddhism, to his disciples in the deer park nearby.
