Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu has its Durbar Square at its heart; here charm of old town blends well with traditional architecture in a rich cultural backdrop. The entire square was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Swayambhunath Stupa: – Buddhist Stupa this is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of bricks and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Paint edon the four sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.

Boudhanath Stupa: – Is one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four pairsof eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. It is built on an octagonal base in set with prayer wheels. The shrine is surrounded by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priests

Budanilkantha Temple: – About eight kilo meters north of Kathmandu, at the base of Shivapuri hill as a remarkable colossal statue of Lord Bishnu, reclining of the bed of Snake. This is one of the masterpieces of stone sculptures of Lichchhavi period. This fifth century statue is in the middle of a small pond and seems to float in water
