We’re sure you have heard of Heritage Walks around the Gothic precincts of South Mumbai several times. So, let’s experience the beauty of the same vintage structures on cycle during Mumbai Cycle Tour.
Starting as early as 0630hrs, cover all the tourist landmarks but of course, peddling away on the two wheels! The ride appropriately starts with the Gateway of India, the emblem of Mumbai tourism. This victory arch was built to welcome the British Queen to the city and its only befitting to have it as our very first stop. Right opposite, you will see the famous domed Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which has hosted the likes of Barack Obama, the Beatles and a host of other celebrities in its century old lifetime. Post this, go past by the Royal Mumbai Yacht Club – The Royal Bombay Yacht Club is one of the premier gentlemen clubs which was founded in 1846 in Colaba, then Police Headquarters, the NGMA and the city museum (formerly the Victoria and Albert Museum) – house of the decorative and industrial arts. En-route, we will stumble upon the Kala Ghoda area, which is the known as the Art area of Mumbai.
After clicking a few cool selfies at the romantic Marine Drive sea face promenade and the grand Victoria Terminus Station also known as chhatrapati shivaji terminus, the tour ends with a well-deserved, hearty breakfast at a local restaurant within the South precinct.
