The feast is followed by a week-long celebration known locally as the Bandra Fair and is visited by thousands of people. then the beautiful St. Stephen’s Church, the Castelle de Agauda, also known as the Bandra Fort an Old Portuguese fort. “Castella” is a misspelling for Portuguese “Castelo”. Properly, it should be called Castelo da Aguada, although it seems its Portuguese builders actually called it Forte de Bandorá Historical relevance aside, you will also be able to photograph the Bandra-Worli Sealink – a true insignia in modern design. Waroda Road and Pali Village houses a handful of old Portuguese style homes. Complete with big porches, wooden staircases and ornate grills, these houses have something in it for architecture lovers too.
